Very nice room in a old palace in the middle of a wood

Very nice room in a old palace in the middle of a wood. Quiet and nicely furnished. Breakfast was great. The village of Ruvo is easily reachable. It has some remarkable site and great restaurants. Many great location are at a short drive for Ruvo: Bari, Trani, Castel del Monte. I had a very good time at Andrea’s place. Getting to the place is rather confusing the first time you try but just call Andrea before you arrive and he will meet you at the exit of the highway.

The location and the property are absolutely extraordinary

airbnb_horizontal_lockup_web

I chose the accommodation Andrea – I think this is the ‘Room of the Baroness’ – at the last moment, having planned a series of visits in the area, in Ruvo di Puglia Canosa di Puglia. Andrea has been a great help for all logistics. The accommodation responded perfectly to the description we had read on Airbnb. The perfect wifi, parking in the property’s courtyard, spacious and clean room. The location and the property are absolutely extraordinary: extremely quiet surrounded by olive groves, very practical for trips we had planned in the following days. One of these goals was the Jatta museum, so I could get first-hand information about the history of this extraordinary collection, and then enjoy a ‘customized’ visit to the private part of the Palazzo Jatta Ruvo di Puglia. Given the wealth of Puglia from the historical and archaeological point of view, I definitely see again, and Parco del Conte will be just as surely the ‘base camp’ … So I would certainly recommend it!

Wide villa of hunting

TripAdvisor-logo2

The “Parco Del Conte” offers the possibility to stay in a beautiful aristocratic villa of hunting, still belonging to one of the noble families of Ruvo. The rooms do not betray the expectations in traditional volumes combined with the modern conveniences. The geographical location is an ideal point for visiting both the coastal cities of Molfetta, Bisceglie and Trani that the assets of the interior such as Castel del Monte and Bitonto. Be sure to visit Ruvo its magnificent cathedral and the Jatta museum set up by family owner of the villa.
